National Parks and Leisure Conference
Fitness Australia will have a strong presence at the 2014 Parks and Leisure Australia National Conference. The conference will be attended by in excess of 500 local government representatives from across Australia and presents a unique opportunity for Fitness Australia to discuss and highlight their capacity to assist local governments to develop fair and equitable policies for the delivery of commercial fitness services on public land.
Fitness Australia, Manager, Business Development Phillip Hazlett will deliver a presentation highlighting Fitness Australia’s recent successes in overcoming a proposed fee structure for Victorian Crown land which would have resulted in up to a tenfold increase in permit fees for commercial fitness service providers.
Fitness Australia also looks forward to an exciting announcement in conjunction with Parks and Leisure Australia which will further strengthen Fitness Australia’s influence over the ongoing development of policies relating to the delivery of commercial fitness services on public land.
