This course is designed for any YogaFit® instructor who wishes to add a new dimension to their YogaFit® career by working with pre and postnatal mums. Designed collaboratively by YogaFit® and board-certified obstetrician/gynaecologists, the program features safety for your students and simplicity for you. Classic yoga poses have been selected specifically for use during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and these are linked in a gentle "flow" style, according to the YogaFit® "3-Mountain" method.
This course will give you a streamlined approach to teaching Prenatal and Postpartum YogaFit® classes, which you can use immediately with confidence. Every YogaFit Prenatal pose presented in the manual will be safe for your students throughout all trimesters of pregnancy with modifications and props clearly outlined, eliminating the “which student can do what” confusion.
What you will learn:
- safe and effective poses to help relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy, from morning sickness to early labour pains
- breathing techniques and pelvic floor exercises
- anatomical and emotional changes in the expectant mother.
