The Tai Chi for Health and Falls Prevention Program is an evidence-based, safe and targeted Tai Chi intervention program designed to improve fitness, overall health, well-being, functional abilities and quality of life, improve balance and prevent falls. The Tai Chi for Health and Falls Prevention Program is a Fitness Australia national accreditation program for exercise instructors and health professionals involved in physical activity intervention for population health, and active and active and healthy ageing & falls prevention.
The course is co-presented by Dr Henry Zheng (PhD UNSW), a research fellow in physical activity for primary prevention and rehabilitation, and Alice L Yuan, a leading international Tai Chi and Qigong authority and national Tai Chi and Qigong Accreditation head instructor.
