Fitness Australia today released its second round of Relief Package for registered AusREPs and industry professionals impacted by of COVID-19.
Due to the return of Stage 3 Stay at Home restrictions across Victoria, we have decided to continue to support Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructors through our AusREP Relief Package.
Although many of our AusREPs don't live in Victoria, we feel it is important to not exclude anyone at this time. We know that all of you have been affected, and many continue to be heavily impacted by COVID-19.
If you need to renew your AusREP registration over the coming months, we want to help you keep up your registration credentials and keep your fitness career going during these trying times.
Between now and the 30th September 2020 Fitness Australia is committed to providing an AusREP Relief Package that covers:
- A significantly reduced registration rate with new flexible payment options.
- Complimentary CECs available now in your dashboard.
- An amnesty period for CPR and First Aid requirements if you need it.
- An option to renew your registration for 1 year.
Here’s more about the three areas in the Relief Package and what you’ll need to renew:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
If your First Aid or CPR are expired or are due to expire in the next 3 months, and you can’t refresh them now, that’s ok. We can put a hold on this registration requirement till 30th September so you’ll have more time to renew your CPR and First Aid*.
- 20 CECs from the last two years
If you don’t have them all right now, that’s ok because we’re giving you free access to education with CECs in your fitness.org.au dashboard.
Complete the three iLearn courses by Fitness Australia Australian Fitness Industry Risk Management Education that take up to 2 hours each and are worth 2 CECs each, so a total of 6 CECs. More will be made available in upcoming weeks.
- Reduced registration fee
The reduced AusREP registration fee as part of the relief package is now $195 for 2 years, normally $275 for 2 years. You will also now have the option of a 1 year registration for $125.
You can access the AusREP Relief Package by logging in to your dashboard. Go to fitness.org.au/Login
