Tap into your clients' competitive streak for a good cause!
As a Gym Instructor/Personal Trainer, you’ve probably heard EVERY excuse under the sun. This year Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) has come up with an offer no one can refuse!
In preparation for Jeans for Genes Day (August 7th), CMRI has launched a new fitness campaign, FIT in your Jeans for Genes! The FIT campaign features a 7 minute interactive workout app with a fundraising twist. Participants are encouraged to set a fitness goal and back it up with a fundraising goal to raise much needed funds for Children’s Medical Research Institute.
Donations raised from the FIT campaign will go a long way towards achieving the Institute’s goals for the future, including finding new treatments for epilepsy, kidney disease, infectious diseases and every type of cancer. As well as developing gene therapy cures for rare genetic childhood diseases and improving the understanding of predisposition to disease.
So how can you get involved?
Spread the word to your clients and encourage them to register at www.fitinyourjeansforgenes.org.au. Why not sign up yourself and add the 7 minutes to the beginning of your sessions? Then share the good news with everyone and get them to sponsor you to help cure childhood diseases.
You can also visit the FIT website, follow FIT on Facebook or contact [email protected].
