Dr Fiona Bull Talks About International Physical Inactivity On The Fitness Business Podcast
“The ultimate goal of the World Health Organisation’s Global Action Plan on Physical Activity is a 15 per cent reduction in the global prevalence of inactivity by 2030,” said Dr Fiona Bull, The World Health Organization’s physical activity expert is this week’s interview on The Fitness Business Podcast .
“The Global Action Plan on Physical Activity was released in 2018 and we felt it was critical that the International fitness industry needed to hear the message. So we connected with Dr Fiona Bull and she was kind enough to explain the report,” said Chantal Brodrick, the host of The Fitness Business Podcast.
“Dr Bull shared that as a global average, 23 per cent of adults fail to meet the 150 minute threshold, although this varies by country – it can be anything up to 75 per cent of the adult population in places like the Middle East and Latin America,” continued Chantal.

The release of the interview comes just before the second World Health Organisation Dialogue on the Implementation of the Global Action Plan in Geneva, Switzerland, from 25-26 February 2019.
